With entry of more than 700 wines we are proud to share with you the news that we have received four places in the Adelaide Review Hot 100 under the category of South Australian Wines for 2009/10
Judging took place over a 3 day period amongst a team of 5 tasters ensuring every wine had fair scrutiny. As far as possible, every wine was tasted in a class against its varietal peers and blends against blends. In the case of obscure varieties wines were grouped together by colour. Every flight of wine was judged by a winemaker and a sommelier. The flights concluded with a discussion and re-tasting if necessary, in order to give the wine a final score out of 20.
