Tasting Notes
The Procrastinator is made from Cabernet Franc, a grape variety perfectly suited to the McLaren Vale climate.
The Procrastinator gets its name from John Harvey, patriarch of Chalk Hill, who displays this attribute almost as an art form. It is made to celebrate putting off to another day those things that could have been completed today.
The wine has aromas of raspberry and strawberry with notes of violet, spice and confectionary characters. The soft, silky tannins provide wonderful palate length and the wine will continue to evolve and develop through to 2015.
Food Pairing
Cabernet Franc is a great 'food wine' with soft raspberry flavours and firm tannin structure that will pair rich meat dishes and pizzas.
Review
"Light, bright crimson; attractive cassis and red cherry fruit aromas and flavours, structure provided by fine tannins. Cabernet Franc"
