Vineyard Notes
The Slate Creek vineyard surrounding the homestead of Chalk Hill, produces the Muscat a Petit Grains. The Orange Muscat was sourced from Liparoo. The blend provides great balance in the finished wine, with beautiful lifted fruit aromatics.
Winemakers Notes
The balance between the low alcohol, natural fruit sweetness and the lifted aromatics in this wine, were the keys to its success. Parcels of fruit are harvested at different times and the fermentation was closely monitored to ensure we bottle the wine at its aromatic peak. This wine is a gourmandise!
Food Pairing
The Chalk Hill Moscato is the perfect aperitif, and will also compliment grilled fish and a wide range of delicious desserts. It also forms the base for some exciting cocktails to enjoy on any occassion!
