Tasting Notes

A serious wine drinker's Rosé, it was conceived on a summer's day in a harbour-side café in the south of France, when enjoying some local Bandol rosé and bouillabaisse.

Made entirely from Grenache grapes, this Rosé has aromas of gooseberry and fresh strawberry, with a rich, silky palate and firm acidity leading to a crisp finish.

Food Pairing

This wine will match a range of Asian, seafood and chicken dishes - the ultimate bottle to take out to dinner where you don't know where you will end up.

Review

"A beautiful pale salmon hue is an enticing suggestion of a rosé with elegance, and this wine delivers as promised. It's a restrained style with a subtle strawberry-hull-flavoured palate and a refreshingly bone dry finish. Faint nuances of Grenache spice and pepper add some interest to its long finish, while fine acidity provides well-gauged texture. This is a clean, fresh, well-made wine with smart new labelling - clean, fresh and modern"
